Why would you think an LLM would actually understand how reporting works. It understands how to pretend to report you tho.
That said , the devs don't want to censor the chat and let you do whatever you want. They would not install that kind of system, and if they did, it'd probably follow "therapist rules" and only do something if it was legally required to. But I have no reason to believe it currently does.

I'm not sure what kind of fantasies you are trying to enact, but every sane person would agree that the developers have to implement some kind of reporting system for fringe cases like this, in case a mental unstable user plays out murder phantasies.
Things like that could lead to a huge liability issue for the service provider.

There are plenty of bestselling novels about murder and other dark shit. What's the difference between writing a dark book and roleplaying with an ai to explore the same dark themes? It doesn't mean you actually want to do what your character does.
I always figured the stuff that Nomi writes about the user was used for reporting purposes. Message number and all. No different than any other AI app.
But also non consensual is always an issue. Anthropic would ban a user for that.
